Hooters Mall Of America Closed

On August 11th, 1992, Hooters Mall of America opened
as one of the original restaurants when Mall of America
first opened. From the very beginning, the restaurant
became a familiar stop for guests looking to relax, grab
some wings, and watch the game during their visit to
the mall. After more than three decades serving locals,
sports fans, and travelers alike, Hooters Mall of
America closed its doors on Sunday, March 22nd 2026.

Unfortunately, with the issues we have faced over the last
couple of years with steep competition, other high profile
establishments shuttering their doors, record high
inflation and costs, we are unable to continue with
business as usual. With great sadness, it is time for us to
close this site.

We are deeply grateful to the Bloomington community,
the Mall of America team, our loyal guests, and the
incredible staff who helped make this location what it has
been for the past 33 years.
